Great Wired Article On Android (gPhone)

400pxmobile_phone_evolution
There is a great piece in Wired on the gPhone. Truthfully, I wish I could have gotten to the developers ball in Germany and developed some of the applications.

Should you have ever read any of the pieces on this blog (which I'm failing to maintain) I mentioned some of the styles of apps and fundamentals in some of my mobile pieces and you'll see them appear in the Wired piece. It tells me that I'm not an entire delta-bravo. I am particularly excited about the prospect of QR codes coming to the US--only a few handsets actually support the application that reads them currently. The handset makers should be rejoicing. Finally, they can get away from the kowtow to the carriers.

As this article pointed out, I think Google will win out in this battle with the big two, Verizon and At&t.
It's going to follow my Killer App model, but it's going to work. They are going to hit the point of market entry targets and entrench these users (like me) for life.

I can't wait to buy one of these phones. Sign me up. This isn't particularly insightful, just trying to break the seal.
